ENVS 4950:  International Service & Sustainability

In partnership with Cafe Femenino Foundation, USU students will work alongside women coffee farmers and their families in Northern Peru.

The Café Femenino Foundation provides funding to support grant requests from women living in poverty in coffee producing countries of the world. The foundation has been working with the CECANOR fair trade coffee cooperative in Northern Peru since 2005; the program is the largest and most robust to date.  Women have identified food security as a high priority community need. USU students can assist in addressing this need through community greenhouses and school garden projects.
