Community Engagement Awards

Each year Utah Campus Compact recognizes the work of outstanding faculty, staff, students, and community partners across the state. Each member institution can nominate awardees in the following categories:

  • Civically Engaged Scholar
  • Civically Engaged Staff Member
  • Civically Engaged Student
  • Committed Community Partner

New this year, the Center for Community Engagement will recognize one outstanding faculty-community partnership that exemplifies collaboration between USU and the greater community (local, regional/state, national and global) for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity (Carnegie Foundation).

Community-Engaged Learning Mini Grants

Faculty who teach Community-Engaged Learning designated courses are eligible to apply for Mini Grants to cover costs associated with the service component of the course. Mini grants are dispersed each semester, and applications are due prior to the start of the semester on either December 15th (for Spring semester course) or May 15th (for Fall semester course).
